Poor little Joey-man! I bet that IV is driving him nuts!

Helen, there's no reason to worry yourself sick until you know for sure what you're dealing with. One step at a time. He's home, he's happy, eating and drinking well, and on antibiotics. The tests are being done to figure this all out, and he's in very good medical hands.

Just remember - he will pick up on your stress, so try really hard to remain as calm as possible.

And for the record, I would love to have Sev there to be MY buddy if I was feeling under the weather! Joey is in very good paws there.

I think Nikki gave great advice - just shower this boy with love and appreciate every minute. It sounds like you've got a great vet and they are doing what they can to get to the bottom of this. Meanwhile, we are here for you and continue to send healing and positive energy to both you and your boy.

He sounds as though he's very pleased to be home with his family, I'm so pleased they didn't have to keep him! The fact that he slept by your feet all night (as opposed to hiding in a corner), and ate is a very good sign. Your Joey is a fighter

Aww i'm glad to hear little Joey is feeling better this morning! That is wonderful! I bet he's happy to be home!
How's he doing with the iv right now? If he keeps trying to lick it i would put an E-collar on him to prevent him damaging it- (if he keeps picking at it he can move the needle and potentially blow that vein so watch him closely.)

My DH has 3 vet techs that work for him and one of them is coming here today to take out his IV and take his temp, in fact one just called she's on her way here
Thanks Nikki

Joey will be happy to get that pesky IV out.
I hope that his temp is better.
