In his paperwork from the E-vet it said: Tried to ESCAPE from CAGE
Awww Lucky girl...they had bulletin boards with cat pics like in scrapbook form and there was a pic, and if I didn't know better I would have SWORE it was Lucky Girl...David thought so too

I just talked to the vet and the Ultra sound is scheduled for today so hopefully we will know more later.

awww, don't you wish you could just stay there with them.... that way he wouldn't be scared too bad? You would think they'd come up with an idea for some fancy vet hospital where you can stay with them....
The poor little pumpkin pie!

Yeah, the nurse that took her blood last time said "she's a fighter!!!"

Poor Joey
I'm sorry you had such a rough weekend!!!! I hope the ultrasound shows something useful, and you get a firm diagnosis!

The e-vet may not have been correct, but I'm glad they were able to give him fluids, and stabilise him so you could get him to your regular vet!

and
to all of you

Yes Sarah even though there was a mis-diagnosis...I HOPE
I could never have waited till today so I am grateful there is an E-vet around.

A small update:

Joey couldn't come home with me
I did get to hold him, and he was happy, but not when I left, he looked so sad
I did bring some Solid Gold Tuna for him and he looked interested so hopefully he will eat some.

The ultrasound showed his heart is fine but his kidney's are pretty enlarged, also there was some matter in his bladder and they sent his urine to be tested and if it shows something they need to do a procedure to get the matter out of his bladder and test it. Also something going on in his stomach like maybe an IBS issue...so anyway she did not have the full report back from the person who did the ultrasound so that is all she could tell me so far.

Thanks everyone

Keeping Joey in my thoughts and prayers, Helen.
Glad to hear the improvement from yesterday, and
that you'll be able to bring your sweet boy home soon.

Poor baby
It is so hard when you know they don't understand. I hope you are able to find out what's up with your little guy.

Ahh, bless him, it is so awful to have to wrench yourself away especially when they are scared and don't understand. He is in good hands though and will be well looked after. Even though he wants his meowmy. I have told my little Al about his little friend and we are still thinking about you both and sending all the vibes we have. All our best wishes for a speedy recovery for Joey. Take care.
