my cat had one kitten tonight, but it wasn't alive. she continued to be in labour for a little while longer, but then stopped completely. I can tell there are other babies in there. Its been like 4 or 5 hours now since anything happened. Should I be worried about nothing happening and should I worry that since the one that was born wasn't alive that the rest aren't either???

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This is the worst litter I have ever tried in my life. The cats don't care, but I do - it stinks to high heaven and doesn't clump at all like it claims.

I would suggest turning to the vet Immidiately!
if she is not delivering for a ong time she and the kittens are at risk.
there could be many reasons for this. the kittens might all be dead and not helping her push, the kittens heads might be too big, or something with the queen is wrong.
call a vet ASAP!

Hi there,
I'm a persian & himmy breeder of 12 years and I have had cats do this...it really all depends if the mother seems under stress.
I have one in labor right now, her water broke today at 3:00, then she went and had a snack and took a nap, it's 9:30 now and she is just hanging out.
But if your cat seems to be in hard labor, or stressed, I agree...get her to a vet!
