Nikita photos

Wow! I do believe that is the BEST glitter photo I have ever seen. Glitter is easy to see in the right light in person, but to capture in a photo is very very difficult.

Great job! Love the boxed photo too.

Thanks! It took me ages to get that photo. I took probably around 50 photos of her in the sunlight to try to get the camer angle and settings just right to try to capture the glitter and this is the best one. I was lucky as well in first of all Nikita co-operating by dozing in the brightest bit of sunlight on the floor and also just for the sunlight. I have very big windows but nice bright sun is often in short supply here in Scotland

I was looking thorugh this thread and got *extremely* inspired by the photos of Nikita. I opened up Photoshop and played around in it for a couple hours... here's what I came up with:




It doesn't do her or your pictures justice but I thought it'd only be polite to share it with you since I did use your photos.

The glitter picture is absolutely gorgeous! We all know how hard it is to take those!

There will be more photos later on, as soon as I've taken some more

She's a decent size, especially for a female cat. She's now 12 pounds and like you can see from the photos she's not carrying around any superfluous weight. I.e it's all size and muscle, she's not even slightly chubby.

She's not as keen on water as some bengals but she likes splashing around in it as long as her back feet don't get too wet.

She looks like she would be so fun to take photos of, she looks like she has so much personality!

I'm sick at home with a very bad cold, however one of the few good things about that is that I get to spend more time with Nikita.

She cute overloaded me this morning though, sleeping happily in the sun on her pet pillow. I'd put in a cuteness warning if I could 'cos yeah.. warning is needed.

Your photographic skills are amazing and Nikita is stunning!!! I want a Bengal so bad...and I think you are helping my cause! LOL!
I tell my husband "OH, Look at this...isn't that pretty?" as I show him pics of Nikita. He always agrees and then I ask "Can I have one?" and then he says no. But I'm wearing him down I think! I'm sure not gonna stop trying.
BTW, my favorite of the last set of photos is where she's stretching, looking like she's trying to touch her back toes. Precious!!!!

thanks! and hehehe, well I for one would not want to bring a bengal into a home where not everyone wanted one. They can be very high maintenance cats and it's easy for people who weren't too keen to start with to start blaming the cat just for acting "normally"

Anyway I took Nikita outside today. She almost caught a bird actually. Some daft wee feathered thing flew past her nose when she was standing on the ground. She dashed after it (yay for extendable leashes) but it flew up before she could get it.

Made her quite wired though and HUGE eyes while trying to see where it'd gone.

She is a phemomonal cat! And your pics are absolutely gorgeous! May I use a picture for my desk top at work? She is such a joy to look at.

Thank you and yes she is a splendiferous cat and of course you're free to use the photos for your personal use. Printing them out to sell I wouldn't like but desktops on your computer (at work or at home) no problem whatseover
