The fluer-de-lis

The exact origin of the symbol Fluer-de-lis is still debated in some circles, but there can be no doubt that for centuries, it was part of the crest of the Kings of France...



So, when the weather started getting cold again, and I brought out an extra blanket that was covered in Fluer-de-lis images...it was only natural that this blanket would be claimed as "new favorite blanky" by Queen Turvy Demeter and her entourage

That blanket looks exactly like the blanket that was on the bed in a B&B that I stayed at in Quebec!
