How big do your Abys tend to get at adult size? He looks big, but maybe the judge is just small.

Oh darn... you must have been so close! Those judges are blind.
Are you gonna try again next year?

His sister will be going to Hong Kong next week for the next two shows (quarantine issues)...I'm hopeful for a good showing since she's technically better than him...

He and his sister Cahaya Bulan (Moonlight) will be my first two Grand Premiers I think.

He is big - almost as big as mommy already and his daddy is around 10lbs. AND, the judge is quite small!!!

Congratulations! Now I have another breed to add to my favorites. There is the more traditional Siamese, the Snowshoe, the Oci, and now the Aby. I'm seeing a pattern here. I think they share some of the same basic personality traits. He is a beautiful kitten.

If you like the aby and siamese personalitys, then the ocicat is for you - just throw a little of the ASH in the mix to quiet them down a little bit

Beautiful and gorgeous he is
Easy to win, not so!
The Bangkok show was full of gorgeous, to standard (at least 90%) Long Hair cats. Never easy for a Short Hair cat to win anyway in any part of the world. Sad but true!

Why? Simply because it's easier to mask faults in Long Hair cats and not so easy on Short Hairs!

Showing is fun, exciting and exhausting. It's also extremely addictive!!!
Just ask Godiva!

Maybe I will take it up when I am older and out of college lol

I really love long hairs, but I also am very much in love with the "mease" family of felines. Which of course, means I do love short hairs. My girlie is a short hair, and my parents have a mane coon. Way too much upkeep! Lol
