well here is Sharkys speelll

some cats need jenny craig ie wt control foods high carbs modest protein and fat

others need atkins high protein high fat , this is close to a natural diet ...

others need a balence like the zone for humans...

My best guess is since Jenny didnt work try atkins( core ) ... Zone will likely help( kitten food)

I would start with kitten as you have that and wellness aint cheap
... Core was 25$ for a 4lb... EVO would also be one to look at and Raw instict ...

Not sure about CORE sounds like big money, though. I don't know about your area, but a 4.4lb bag of the Nature's Variety Raw Instinct was $11 here. Not bad...sure beats $25
Pumpkin doesn't like it but my other 7 do.

The store finder things on the company sites are helpful...a few are incomplete but they've helped me find some brands here...where Friskies seems to be king. LOL

I thought I'd revive this thread, as I was out shopping Friday and the store I get a lot of my food at had small (2lb) bags of Wellness CORE for $6.99 minus a $5 mail in rebate...so maybe worth trying for $2, if you can get the rebate.
I didn't check the price on the bigger bags...
