Daniela WINS the Draw

My thanks go out to all of you who took the time out of your busy schedules to help round up reporter's names from all over the country so the Story of Samoa could be told.

About 300 reporters have been contacted now, thanks to your efforts, and I am getting some interest back, so this should generate some really good stories for the cause of ferals.

The names were placed in a hat this morning, and one drawn at random and the winner is Daniela!

Wow. I can't believe how quickly it went! You guys are all incredible, and I love the way we all came together to help Samoa and get his story out. Anne, thanks so much for organizing it.

I didn't get the chance to help look up names, and I am ashamed. I hate it when work gets in the way of what's truly important.

I don't know what else to say other than Thanks.

I got a quick note from Judi saying Samoa is doing great, but she didn't mention the TV show. She's obviously very busy, and she didn't mention how she was doing herself. I wrote back - we'll see what happens.

I am so excited. I actually saw this thread earlier but was having keyboard troubles ( my daughter knocked a glass of OJ onto my keyboard and fried it ).

So, I am really excited and this is perfect timing too!! My brother has a cat who is very young and just had kittens about 6 weeks ago. She is struggling with them, so this will be awesome for me to share with them!!!

Congrats Daniela! I don't think you needed to offer a prize for us to work on all those contacts. Helping the kitties was enough motivation for me. I'm glad the Snugglekitty will be put to good use.

Again I just want to thank all of you on behalf of ferals everywhere for all you did! I know, I am repeating myself- but we now have reporters across the country aware of the plight of ferals and they are going to be running stories throughout next year to help raise the awareness of what the ferals go through!! So good deeds come from small efforts and EVERYONE did such a major effort! It was overwhelming! Thank you.......thank you........ thank you......
