Friday!

That MIGHT make us forget about the cold snap... Nah....

Not much on the agenda here, last day of work for the week. Housework before the family lunch on Sunday, so no joy for the weekend either. At least the cold spell is to go away after it....

I don't think I can be as
as necessary for today's holiday, but some of you with nice Mom's might work it out...

Have a great day, cat peeps!

Gotta go and get ready to greet the little rug rats.

We are out of school for over a week, but we are open for day care only today, we are supposed to have only 30 kids but we will probably have more. Some of our parents never sign up for it but they bring their kids anyways.

I am just glad that I only work until lunch every day.

I hope everyone here has a great day, C U when I get home this evening.

Good morning

I'm out of bed way too early for a day off. Reilly has a routine and there is nothing that gets in the way of that

I'm looking forward to getting together with everyone today for the pet show
my camera is ready!

Have a great Good Friday everyone!

Good morning everyone!

Well, today is the start of a long weekend. Which under any other circumstances would be great.... but I have tons of work to do and the university is closed, except for the library

How am I ever gonna get all that work done now? I want to finish my draft paper for my American Mass Culture class (writing a paper on American history according to The Simpsons
) and edit my thesis one more time.

I think I'll go downtown anyways and spend my time moving from the library to coffee shops. I get more work done that way than if I was at home.

Another chilly day. Another achy back. It just occurred to me I can join AARP. At least the sun is shining and the dogwoods are in full bloom!

You didn't get your AARP invite yet??? I subscribe when Neil turned 50-the magazine is pretty good!!
Sunny and cold (still) a mere 20F this am-with yes snow predicted this afternoon. I hate to see what effect this cold snap is going to have on the plants and the ground is refreezing!!
Got my tomato plants transplanted (all 86 of them) and some of the herbs too.
Painted more in basement have to buy more paint though.
Going to the farm in about 30 minutes-the tractor tire is flat again, Neil wants to saw firewood. I just want to be warm!!

TGIF!!

Why not history?

I say if you have to study, at least make it interesting and fun!
