WOW is it ever cold here tonight!

I just got home from my buddies house and I looked at the weather network to see how cold it is. Right now it's -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit). What happened to spring\\summer? Flowers are going "I'm out. I'm in. I'm out.". My fellow canucks, is anyone else getting sick of Canadian weather?
