I KNOW! I tried to think how I'd react if I was there but to be honest, I have NO IDEA how I'd react!!

I miss hearing the coyotes at night since I moved to the city. Not sure I would want to have lunch with one though, lol

I saw him on the news here last night. He was a really cute little guy. They could have at least offered him a sandwich! I've seen a few coyotes around here in the suburbs over the years. We used to have one that came around our office building on occasion, but I haven't seen him in quite a while.

That's funny! My sister, being a "big city girl" transplanted to a small Midwestern town, once brought in the "stray dog" that followed my niece home from school, and fed it. Her then husband almost had a heart attack when he came home to find a coyote eating in the kitchen.

No thanks!! I see my fair share of coyotes out here where we live!! I know they are one of the reasons I have had cats dissappear!!

I saw that on cnn.com. It's pretty wild (no pun )

I saw him on the news last night.
He's so adorable, just sitting there in the cooler like he belonged there.
Poor little guy was probably scared to death.
They were talking about him on the news again tonight, they said he was being checked over and would be released back into the wild.

lol i saw that also, and the pic of him sitting in the cooler, i guess he was just hot and wanted to get cool.

Was just a young coyote too. They could have at least offered the little guy a Snapple (which were in the refrigerated case just behind it in the news video).

Our little suburb has had a problem in the last year with coyotes eating cats and small dogs for breakfast, so to see one in a ma and pa shop actually looked sensible to me. He was later transfered to a wildlife refuge to hopefully dine on voles and field mice.

Aww i saw it on the news yesterday, the poor think freaked out when it got removed! It looked like it was dozing off in the drinks section

Saw that on the news. We have a lot of them around here.When my dog was alive, he got his kicks by putting the run on them while we would hike in the hills. They were constantly taunting him. We have to watch for the cats now that they don't have their bodyguard anymore. Too many little family critters go missing because of them.
