Hi All - I was wondering if anyone knew of any other places to get Hill's Prescription Diet other then at the vets. This is always a pain in the tush for me because my vet is kind of out of the way and I need to make a special trip just to pick up food. My baby is on the Hill's Prescription C/D dry.

Does PetSmart or Petco carry these types of food? Any online stores that sell it?

Someone posted something about buying rx food online just the other day...I can't recall the site name but the thread is probably one or 2 pages back.

Our Petsmart does carry the Hills prescription food. You would need a prescription from your vet, of course....and *some* Petsmarts are getting picky about selling it to customers that don't have their pets seen at the in house "Banfield" vet. But it's worth looking into.

Does your vet carry the 20lb bags? The big bag helped me....but I can relate on the pain factor.

I know I found one place about 18 months ago...I was looking into it cause needed a bag and vet won't sell until I brought cat in for a complete check(close to 225 including the bag of food and the office/bloodwork) It was a few more bucks online but the shipping was lowish(was based on state it shipped to) If I come across it again I'll post...I googled it and it was on first hit. QWill search later
