Just happened....I got layed off. I work through next Wednesday and then he'll pay me through the end of April...........I feel lost and empty........

OMG Susie. I am so sorry. That really bites. Atleast he will pay oyu for the rest of them month.

Sorry to hear this. It has happened to me twice now so I know how you feel. Take care and chin up, you will find something else soon.

how a job is needed and nice to have. Remember a job is just a job. its not who and what you are. You have always been a nice caring person here, and that is what is important.

I've been there done that as well, and it sounds like they did it in the nicest way possible. There is nothing wrong with YOU, so please try not to get too depressed. You'll find something new, and it'll be the right thing at the right time, I just know it.

I am so sorry...I hope this leads to something wonderful for you..an opportunity you'd otherwise not have had. I really do believe in silver linings to those clouds!

Oh Sweetie - I am so sorry to hear this! But as everyone else has pointed out, being laid off is not like getting fired - it's a decision made at a corporate level and has nothing to do with you personally.

Sorry to hear about the lay off but I am a firm believer that God doesn't close one door without opening another one. And that everything happens for a reason. Good luck in the new job hunt.
