Well, hmm, you know, in all honesty, I buy whatever clumping litter is on sale. My kitties pee a lot, but don't poop too much.. probably due to the raw diet. There's always a lot more pee in there than poo. (they have a kitty water fountain and have always drank tons since it was bought)..that being said... there is nothing but a hearty set of noseplugs and some eyewatering to get through a fresh poop. After the initial smell fades away, though, we don't really have an issue. I'd read that if you try to clean them daily (which I faithfully did for about four weeks)...with a scooping litter...that they don't stink. I manage to clean them.. about every 2 to 3 days now.. with three litter boxes (one self-cleaning), and four kitties.. and I make sure that I ask my friend every time he comes over how the cat box smell is because there are two in my main floor.. and he's honest.. and he says there's no real smell to it. I ask him because I figure I'm used to however my house smells and wouldn't notice one way or the other.
So, anyway.. I don't have particular litters, but since I've been trying to keep them scooped reasonably often, our smell has stopped and I've stopped having "potty" issues from mr. i want a clean fresh litter box everytime I step foot in it.
The last batch I got was particularly dusty, though.
I can't remember what brand.
