It's generally about half that, IME, but depends on the vet. Some allow water, and others don't.
for Teddy tomorrow!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
With Rosie and Sophie i had to take their food from them at 8.p.m and they went for surgery at 9.a.m.. Don't worry Ann he'll be ok for that few extra hours. Just make sure he only has a little food when he gets back incase he gulps it so fast that he sicks it back up

morning all, thanks for all the vibes, I am just about to go to the vets
we feel terrible, he wants his brekkies and obviously cant have them - DH has had a little word with him to try and explain without being too graphic

Anyway a plane just went through the sound barrier and scared the bejeebers out of all of us - Teddy was calming down, now they are ALL racing around the rooms, tails all fluffed up
that was the last thing I needed

calm thoughts..........calm thought...1...2....3..4..5..

I'm off......

well it makes you wonder dont it - but they do a lot of military flying around us - so I suspect it was one of those cool dudes showing off
no glass broken but boy, did it rattle or what

Well he's home - curled up as tight as he can be sleeping it off
bless him
Maria our vet reported all went to plan
so I suspect he'll want some grub in a couple of hours - its 16.25ish here now.

Anyway thanks all for you vibes and wishes - I told him that he had a lot of people thinking about him - as I left him with Maria

Glad it went well! I remember how much Ari slept after his. He hardly moved from the monitor.

Yay! Glad Teddy`s home again and all went well.
Maybe Miss Moofi could wear them as ear rings when Teddy decides to pee her off?!
