I just finished putting new florescent bulbs in the bedroom ceiling fan and was picking up my mess. When I looked up the ladder, I realized that it was no longer my ladder, but simply another cat toy

I just love the way she's looking down on you! How cute is that?

That is a great picture - all they really want to do is look down on you! Both literally and figuratively!

I think the superstitions cancel each other out.

Nice of you to create another cat tree for the tribe.

Oh yeah, they would cancel each other out. Unless the cat decides to jump on your head when you are walking under it.

Adorable!

He, he. It's better not to leave a ladder unattended. Jaden climbed up mine and jumped into our drop ceiling and we didn't know until she sneezed! Har, har.

She is trying to make sure that you know that she ranks higher than you in the household and so she decided to play queen of the mountain or in this case the ladder.

Yeah...I had a ladder in my bedroom when I was replacing ceiling tiles...Ophelia staked it out as her own purr-sonal cat tree!

I leave my ladder out 24/7 and I even put it right in front the window in my living room as to give Nikita a better perch to look out from.

..why yes she's a spoiled cat (I needed to do it though for her health, long story, and I couldn't buy a big cat tree so the ladder is substituting in for now)

That's a wonderful pic! What WAS he doing up there?

Mine love to climb ladders. During our kitchen remodel, the ceiling was out for a while. Part of my daily house check when the workers left was to fold up all ladders and lay them on the ground. Early on, I stopped Koko just in time from jumping from the top of a ladder into the attic.

Cute pic and very dramatic camera angle!!!
