On a whim today I put cat treats in some of my cats toys. I hid some in a box, a laundry basket and in the track of a scratching post. They had so much fun "finding" the "eggs." I wanted to pass this idea on. Maybe your cats will get an egg hunt too!

I have plastic easter eggs all over the house. I bought a bag last week cause they were only $1 and make great cat toys.

I can hear them bouncing off stuff throughout the day and night. And they're just the right weight that Tomas can scoop a paw under one and fling it into the air, or like the other night, at the back of DH's computer chair.
I've also stuck a few pieces of dry food in a couple to make them rattle.
and if the boys pop them open it's something safe they can eat.

Fantastic ideas! We have a huge bag of pastel plastic eggs in the garage... I can hardly wait to try this out! Thanks!
