Hi all.

P.Kitty ate some outside grass (not the kitty grass I keep for him in the house) and it doesn't seem to be agreeing with him. He keeps trying to vomit, but so far has only vomitted a small amount of clearish liquid.

Anything I can do to help him eliminate the bad grass? He seems otherwise fine, wants to play and snuggle.

And yes, I'll make sure he only eats the kitty grass inside from now on to avoid this in the future.

Thanks for any advise you can offer!

Our indoor/outdoor cat we had growing up used to eat grass and puke it as well. Nothing you can do to help -- it is pretty harmless.

Perfectly normal for a cat to want to eat grass. Puking it up is also normal. In fact, if a cat didn't puke afterwards (from a lot of it), I might be worried.

Isn't that why they eat it....I thought it was a way for them to get rid of hair balls.

Won't hurt him (unless you put pesticides on your lawn). I've had some cats that would eat the new grass and throw up and other that just liked eating it and never threw up
