wheat flour versus wheat Gluten

What is the difference? Would it be manufactured At The same plant? Wheat flour is in the pro Plan for urinary tract health dry Kibble. Please help With this, I am at my Wits End

Gluten is the protein in wheat. You can separate out the gluten by rinsing wheat flour until the starches all wash away. Corn gluten is made the same way, rinsing the starches off of cornmeal.

Wheat flour is the wheat kernal minus the germ ( aka endosperm aka bran) ... Wheat gluten is just the protein part of the wheat ...

wheat flour contains wheat gluten ....

Wheat gluten is part of the wheat as a whole ... it is the part if allergic to wheat you are allergic to ... Hence yes you can have just Wheat gluten but all wheat be it bleached , whole or sprouted( this has the least gluten ) has gluten in it ...
