I am researching the Freedom Fence as my friend is wanting to install one for her cat. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
I worry that what if her cat Milo, jumps the fence inspite of everything then finds he can't get back in. Have any of you guys used it ??? What did you think ??? Please let me know as if it is bad then I need to let Casey know before she spends her money !

Sonia - personally I'm not so sure about this. It means teaching an animal by instilling it with fear and possible pain also. That to me is a big no-no.

I know each case is different, but mine stay in the garden (with the odd excursion out), but that was through a couple years of patient training (no punishments, but a stern NO when needed) and treats.

However, they don't ever go outside unacompanied, and are mostly happy to lounge around the house.

Well, I have to say, I don't really like the sound of it either. Could you're friend not spend her money on having a nice big run built for her babies?? You can get some really great ones nowadays! Just a suggestion
(We bought a second hand Avery, veeery big and sturdy, we attached a little shed to it too so they'd have somewhere to shelter while they were in it if they felt like it)
