Hi everyone, I'd like to say Hi and tell you a little about myself. My user name is after my Boy named Yellar. He was the Barn boss believe me!
He was dropped off, I think thrown out a window when he first showed his little orange face at our house.
We nursed him back to health and he had this giant cat house, lol, the barn and 3 Stallions to keep him company.
Then there are the other barn babies 6 mares.
I came to the site after hearing from a friend from another site I visit.
I'm not well, so this is the best thing, finding friends I actually have something in of interest with,,, ANIMALS! Not only that but true people, who love our fur babies too! Something about people who love a fur child.

Yellar disapeard, about a year ago, after about 5 years of never leaving our small farm??
I still find myself walking as far as I'm able, some days are better then others, looking for him.
I sometimes feel he was shot, we have woods in the back of our property. Even just to find his body would help.
I just don't feel in my heart he has crossed......
So thats who I am.........
Please don't feel sorry about me not being well, its not cancer or anything like that, I only tell so you understand if I vanish for days, I'm probably sleeping, lol
Bless you all and I look forward to meeting you too!!!!

This is such a great site, and every one here is soo nice
Also this site can be helpful and informative and supportive
I am so sorry that Yellar is missing as long as u still believe and have hope I think thats all that matters, our willie (in sign above) went missing and he was gone for months one time, it turned out that someone had him the whole time, and luckily returned him! But the last time no one got him or anything when he went missing but they finally took him to an animal shelter were they found his microchip so I understand how u are feeling
!!! Well see u on the forums

Hello and welcome to TCS..I am sorry to hear about Yellar, but I lost my Smokey about 4 yrs ago too, and never found him. But I as well think that he found a new family to live out his life. He got out the front door one day while I was bringing in the groceries..I never saw him again..But I can tell that he has not crossed..It is just a feeling that I have, like you..
Anyway, again welcome.

Welcome to TCS!

I'm sorry your boy disappeared
you never know though, sometimes cats can disappear for a long time and still find their way home.

Well if I had read "newbies read here please first" I would not have needed to ask Kitten? lol, how cute!!!

You all have been so warm and kind I really didn't expect this.

I send each of you a big hug, thank you and sweet loads of loves and kisses for your fur babies.

I'm now going to read the sticky and pin ups so I might see my way around

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF YOU

It seems to be a common thing on this site, lots of horsey cat people! Too Cool!

I read a book a few months ago called "Do cats need Shrinks?" well I think the guy who wrote it does. He still espoused the notion that cats need to be free and able to wander the country side. A few pages in summary were a litany of death, disease and pain. This cat got..., that cat got...., another cat was.... etc. About 12 cats in all had met grissly untimely deaths and yet he still couldn't work out that maybe it was better to be fat than flat!

I think in some parts of the world people are finding they are not willing to run the risk of losing their cats and so they keep them enclosed, desexed and as safe as possible, in others they are loved and let be free knowing they risk the heartbreak when one day kitty doesn't come when called. Me I am a wimp, I will not have to wonder again I hope. My babies are with me. I used to live a long way from a busy road and my cats were given free reign of the property, now my old fellow has Felv from fighting and his days are numbered.

Your poor little ginger, (I do so love gingers), I hope you find another good working cat, a rescue cat again might be ideal.
