I have a 7 year old black/white cat. His name is Joey. He is very gentle, laid-back guy you could ever meet. My boy doesn't hissed, scratched, growl or bitten anyone. Very affectionate guy, he talks when he wants something. Has tuffs sticking out of his paws, he has a mane around his neck and has longer fur on his tummy. Loves being around people, very social. I was told before that Joey has some Maine Coon in him. They said, he has a big muzzle just like the breed. Maybe he is part Ragdoll because he flops down instead of laying right down. Please let me know! I would like a second opinion. I know he isn't a regular black and white cat.

He may have, but I am not enough of an expert to know
He is gorgeous though! And he sounds like a sweetheart. Thanks for sharing the photos

I'm not a Maine Coon breeder, nor do I show them....but I am owned by a "certified card-carryin' pure bred Coon Cat" and your Joey looks to display many of the characteristics of the breed. I'm a huge fan of black & white kitties AND Coon Cats..........and your Joey is one handsome guy
!!

These are pictures of my Maine Coon, Nala. Not the greatest pics of her but I just grabbed a couple. She'll be 10 years old in July. They're thumbnail pics so you should be able to click on them to see them larger.

Its possible he has a pet quality maine coon in the background. I'd just call him a longhair mix
He is pretty and stricking markings.
