Hey guys! My name is Stacy and I live with my honey, Jim. We just recently adopted a cat (turns out she's pregnant!! o.o). I don't know what kind of cat she is, but I'll try to upload some pictures soon. Her name is Nyx, she's 5-6 months old and has that light brownish colouring like those Siamese cats, with a nice brown tail. She also has blue eyes and some stripes on her tail and face, and little white paws. She's a cutie!!

Anyway... my first post was kind of in the pregnant cat section, then I realized I probably should have posted here first :x So... hi!

Well, finally got off my butt to post these pictures These were taken a few days ago, before she got all sick. Sorry they aren't more "exciting", I don't really think to take my camera out when she is running around and stuff :X

(haha, that last picture makes her face look all cute and chubby!!)

You can see her preggerz belly in that first picture... When we first got her, I thought she was just an oddly-shaped chubby.

Does anyone know what kind of cat she might be? (I assume some sort of mix). The people had her listed as Siamese, but then it was crossed out and said Burmese later... so I don't really know.

Welcome Nyx, Stacy and Jim

to TheCatSite and thank you so much for adopting and caring for Nyx, who sounds beautiful, like a Lynx-Point Siamese maybe. We hope you find lots of friends and good information on the forums, and will visit often.

All nine of us are rescued from "the streets" and are indoors-only, and spayed and neutered, of course. Maryam, who was rescued from here in the desert, was pregnant, too, but we were able to terminate the pregnancy so as not to contribute to the tragic overpopulation problem...

Anyway, we hope you enjoy it here and will share some pix of Nyx with us...
