I have a nine month old cat, Bindi, who is currently on Natures varity frozen raw Chicken, turkey and now another formula - raw Lamb. Problem is he only goes into it with gusto if I sprinkle Tuna water on the meat as its thawing out in a shallow bowl. I researched Tuna and found out its bad for cats because it takes away vitamen E. What about using Sardine oil? Or fish sauce, My dads girilfriend knows an asian flavoring dip that you use for spring rolls? Is this a good idea for cats? We need something strong and good tasting but also something not harmful. I saw Salmon oil at Chuck and dons but its expensive, is this better?

I prefer salmon or cod liver oil/.... My vets recommends cod liver oil that is specific for pet s....

I use grizzley salmon oil and nordic naturals cod liver oil for pets ( it has more of something and less vitamin a than there human)

Also found frozen mice there too, will a cat eat a thawed frozen mouse?, Would buying a pinkie be better then one with the hair and stuff on it? cheaper too, Keep in mind this is something I need to feed quickly so others who are living with me dont find out and freak out over this,( most people dont feed raw mice to their cats) or should I just buy the oil while I'm there and skip the mouse.

Hissy put a link to "fresh" frozen mice she uses ... I guess hers eat them I thought is might be worth a try ... let me try to find that ...Mice I would have to verify the diesease status and who raised them ... wild ones can harbor nasty stuff ...

for now try the oil as it is a bit easier
