Well, this isn't for my cats, I don't feed them Friskies, but my grandma feeds her old cat that, and he is a VERY picky eater! This is the only brand he likes.. Picky old cat, he is exactly like my grandma, stubborn. But, she feeds him the wet food. I want to make sure he is safe from it, because that recall isn't going away anytime soon.
Thank you for reading! And remember this cat is very picky!!!

Friskies is not in the recall. I'm using Friskies canned foods. RC dry. Believe me , I really checked that list!

Friskies is manufactured by Nestle/Purina foods in Missouri (I just checked the lable)

phew, because I know its not the best cat food out there, but its all the old cat will eat. Thank you GoldenKitty.
I want to make sure that cat has a few more years on him. So my grandma won't be lonely. Although I could go down there, but I am not available all day, and that cat loves her, although he is a brat.. lol

I would suggest a higher quality food but ...

THE ONLY DRY in RECALL at the PRESENT TIME IS a RX of Science Diet ... so no one that feeds OTC food should be worried

As for the CANNED RECALL ... if you arent feeding a cuts and gravy on the list or that has wheat gluten you are likely safe...

I am not sure what she is feeding him, except the brand name. And wet food. Because the cat will only eat this kind, and Kit N Kaboodle. Thats all the cat will eat. Thank you though!
(I told her what kind of food I was feeding my cats) And I told her I would give her a sample for the cat.
