In light of the recall, I'm trying new foods. I got one can of Spot's Stew. I tried it on Twitch & Lily tonight. I must admit, I was shocked at what was inside when I opened the can. There seem to be a lot of veggies, but it was accepted gladly(for once) by those two! Here is a link to what I have.

Anybody else tried it? Successful or unsuccessful?

i know someone on here had great luck with it ... personally I think the cat is ideal for a dog .. the excess veggies and the garlic turned me off

I haven't tried it yet. It's kind of spendy for a family of 8...but I will probably try it sometime for a special occasion or something. LOL Does it look really good? Maybe I should get an extra can for hubby?

I tried it on three cats, and they all turned their noses up at it. I took the remaining cans to the local shelter, and a few cats decided to eat it, but most didn't.

What's the consistency of the food, if you don't mind my asking? Like pate or loaf, or more like gravy-ish?

It is very gravy like. My Twitch is a "chunks & gravy" gal & she liked it...
