everyone please, go sign this if you havent already.
everyday i know with more certainty in my heart that i want
to do animal rescue; i want to provide PROTECTION - do
whatever i can do, my heart breaks for these animals; i feel
distance from my own beating heart; there are no words for
the angels of the world, departed from us forever, at the
hands of ignorance & cruelty. fun? revenge? violence.
my stomach is knotted; there will be a day where these cases
are not overturned or delayed, but prosecuted to the extent
of the laws that are held - i want to be apart of that.

Thank you for those of you who signed the petition. And, Donna, thanks for putting in the URL for people to access the petition. I don't know about anybody else, but when I go to read the comments on the petition, sometimes I can't actually find the petition. Does that happen to anybody else?
Donna, I know what you mean--it *does* seem like the people who commit these horrible acts of cruelty are boys or men. I was reading an article about that the other day, but I don't remember where the article is, I've read so many of them lately. I, like you want to become actively involved in helping these poor innocent little babies who are victims of such horrible "human" beings. I've actually started doing that a little bit lately.
And, Anne, if I were to find the body of one of my little babies in that condition, I don't know what I'd do. It was be the worst thing I could imagine happening. And the person responsible would to to jail, or I would die trying. And I would *never* give up as long as I live and breathe.
It's good to know there are people like you folks who really care.

I've signed the petition. I was nearly hysterical when my cat got outside 6 years ago, I can't imagine if I'd even be mentally stable now had anything happened to him out there.
What people do to animals is just horrible. Sometimes I feel like John Coffey in The Green Mile. I physically feel pain when I read all of the horrible stories of what people do to animals.
