Hello,

I am new to this forum and really need some help. I have three cats, part siamese and whatever else, who knows, anyway, they are brother and sisters, and very spoiled. They are inside cats and have the run of the house.

Three days ago, I found a very pregnant cat in my yard just begging to be loved. I made her a little hut in my garage and gave her food and water. All of my cats have been fixed and I have no clue about this mommy stuff.

Took her to the vet, he says she is very healthy, about a year old and her kittens should be here in about a week. He sees no reason for any problems.

I have now moved her into my laundry room, which is rather large as far as laundy rooms go, I have tried to introduce her to Alfred, Sister and Precious, but it really hasn't gone well.

Should I wait till after the kittens are born? How will my three react to kittens? My three have been spayed and neutered. As soon as mama cat is done with kittens, she will be spayed also, she has a home for good right here with us, just have to convince the rulers of the house this!!!

Any help will be appreciated very very much.

By the way, when delivery time comes, does Pretty Mama need anything special, or will she need any help, never been through this before

First off I just want to say well done for taking this mum under your wing! I have no personal experience, but my instinct says not to stress her at this stage of her pregnancy by trying to introduce her to your other animals, just give her a safe room where she can give birth and raise her kittens without having to worry about finding her place in the 'pecking order' with your other pets.

Sending you vibes for a smooth delivery and healthy kittens
