Help Please....chronic Renal Disease

Hi everyone....it is Toomany here with a favor to ask.

My sister's Siamese was just diagonsed with Chronic Renal Disease and he is in the hospital until Monday. She has 4 other cats but her Siamese cats seem to be the ones that get so sick. Barnes (her kitty) had a brother named Nobel (Yes...Barnes & Nobel) that passed away a few years ago from cancer.

I have done some research on this disease and everything I read said it is terminal and it depends on this, that and the other as to how long the kitty has to live.

Does anyone have or has had any kitties with this disease that made it through?

I wanted her to get on this site, but she is not much into this type of thing...and....maybe I can forward her some of your answers.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister's kitty.

I also recommend the above link which will take you to a thread that a member recently started who has had a lot of experience with CRF....
