HI,
I am concerend that my 3 year old cat and my 8 month old kitten are playing too hard.

Its very strange becasue my 3 year old always lays down to the kitten. I dont know why she does not stand up to her. She is twice the size , if not more then her. Anytime they get in that mode of staring and ears back, Peaches lays down and leans back to her. SHe does that to us to if we are scolding her for being on a table. We dont hit her or anything, just raise my voice a bit.

When they start to fight/play, there is hair a flying eveywhere. I am just wondering if the kitten is too aggressive. Peaches also has no front claws, so she tends to bite harder since she has to compinsate for the lack of claws.

I just am worried its to aggressive of play.

Younger cats usually try to dominate and become boss cats, it's just life in the jungle, and Peaches is showing that she knows her place in the pack (or herd or whatever cats are). As she's so much bigger though, and does still have rear claws to kick with, I wouldn't worry too much yet, anyhow, about her being declawed.

Ling will be 2 yrs old in May; Charlie is 7 months old and for the past month or a little longer will dominate Ling (or try to). He's not that much smaller now and soon will be bigger. They sometimes get a bit rough too. Keno usually runs over and breaks them up if she hears them "fighting"
