hi all

im cat sitting for a friend next week i have posted some pics of her cat who is going to get a good grooming while he's here. his name is Simba and hes 6 years old.

also the bad news is that Heidi is leaving us
she has been really bad in the past few days (before getting this cat) she has been scratching and biting us and attacking the kids when they walk past also she is hissing at us now even when we enter the room. my daughter is sleeping with my son tonight as she cant get into her room, heidi sleeps under her bed and if we go in she hisses and arches her back

im sad but very worried for the kids sake i dont know whats wrong with her as we have tried not to annoy her with petting etc.

its a shame i have to give her away but as i said i have to worry about the kids.

OH no! Poor Heidi. Are you quite sure she's not sick or not feeling well physically? I don't know her full history, but I don't suppose she nor you and your family would enjoy parting company with each other even though she's acting up now.

BTW, the kitty you are babysitting is such a handsome fluffball!! He looks grouchy though!

So I understand you have now decided to keep Heidi, well I am sure in time things will settle down, things are a bit up and down for you at the moment

Your house-guest is a cutie - give him some chin scritches from us

well simba is here now and has settled down just nicely heidi hasnt been as aggressive towards any of us and she has been really good with our house guest and as he is looking for a home we are thinking of keeping him so heidi now has a friend and we can look after him.

you can see from the pics he's in need of a good brushing but he has really big clumps of fur at the back of his legs which we have decided to get him a "fur cut" and get rid of them all and then we can maintain it as it grows back in plus the good weather is coming in so it will be good for him too.

thanks for all your replys
