*swoon* Oh my! Bijou is ~such~ a gorgeous little man! I can well imagine that you and your family are in love with this cat, Linda. He is such a stunning example of what makes a healthy Siamese such a beautiful cat. You are so lucky to have him and I am so jealous!!!

Thank you Gaye - coming from you that is quite a compliment. But then again you have the awesome George with whom I am smitten as well!


Thanks for all the lovely comments - we tend to be a bit "biased" when it comes to Bijou just as I'm sure most of you are when it comes to your own fur babies (at least I hope you are).

He's got a tigers muzzle there.


First thing that came to mind when I saw that, was that he looks like he's getting ready to bark. Woof!

Tell her to bring her soft, beautiful belly fur and meet him at Smudge's for a cuddle by the fire.

Linda, Rob just went out the door, and on his way by, I said, "I want to show you a picture", and put Bijou up. As he drooled, I said, "This is Bijou", and he said, "Yyyyyyyyup. He's a jewel!"

That is SO sweet! Bijou is a perfect name for him, it almost sounds romantic and sexy when you say it, and you definatley have a handsome heart throb on your hands there. He is just stunning!!!

"Lyle"? Not that I dislike the name, but it's kind of plebeian for a classy guy like Bijou...

He was thinking "Lyle for Lilac Point". Fortunately Jennifer and I dissuaded him but I had a real "fight" on my hands convincing both of them to go with Bijou (since Bijou really is a feminine name).
