My baby miles is a bit thin. He has always been, but it concerns me. Hes 100% healthy according to the vet.. he eats, plays a lot etc. Is there any way I could get his weight up besides feeding both wet and dry? Or should I not even worry about it if the vet says hes okay? Hes much slimmer than Merlin was at his age.

Cats should be slim but not to the point where ribs, spine or hip bones are visible. You should be able to feel his ribs easily through a small layer of fat.

How old is Miles? Did your vet do bloodwork? If he's still a kitten (younger than 12 months) he may fill out naturally as he gets older. Some cats will always remain slim.

Kitten food, which is higher in calories than adult cat food, can help add weight. KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer, a liquid) can also help.

If your vet says he's 100% healthy I wouldn't worry about his weight, unless he's obviously skinny, eg ribs visible. Some cats are just built that way. Jaffa is a skinny cat but he's healthy and he wouldn't look right if he was bigger.
