Beautiful trees! I'll have to share this link with my daughter...many of these would be great inspirations for her drawings and writings!

Thanks so much, they are gorgeous!

Those were great! Thanks for sharing that link.

Aren't the bristlecone pines incredible? The tree is older than the language we're using to describe it.
And those sculpted Circus trees? I'd love to see those!

Thats a cool link. I love the story behind the The Lonely Tree of Ténéré. Its a good reason for why not to drink and drive. How drunk was he to hit the ONLY thing for miles.

Amazing. I'm a tree nut...no pun intended! I have all sorts of wood from different trees and we have furniture and art work made from many different trees. KOA is one of my favorite woods.

It's too bad that guy killed that 5000 year old tree. What a shame.

That is a very cool site. I love trees and how many forms they come in. Most impressive was that huge tree next to the church or temple. The wierdest were the tree with shingles on it and the circus trees.

I have a few tree pics I thought I'd post from when I was in Kenya (for all you tree enthusiasts):

I think this is a Baobab tree (it looks like the one that was on the site in Tanzania)

This one translates to something like sausage tree. If you look close, you can see it's fruit/seed pods that hang down like sausages!

These trees had an almost neon green bark

Was that...could it be? Seriously? Was that the end of the rainbow? I saw no pot of gold under that tree!
