Nopers!! My best friend does that though. She lets her kids drink from a measuring cup if the cups are dirty!!

I used to, but now we have a dishwasher so they dont go more than a day or two without getting washed.

We have a system around here. We lay the dishes over by the dishwasher. We pay no attention to any crumbs or such left on the plates or say, soup in bowls. Persi then comes and licks all of the plates and bowls clean which prepares them to just pop into the dishwasher. This system makes everybody happy.

Nate and I are the biggest slobs alive. I can't actually remember the last time I saw the kitchen counter in its entirety, there is always something waiting to be washed

My roomates in college were like that. When they left cereal bowls with milk in them to go bad I decided to move out I mean how lazy can you be to not even dump your cereal milk out into the sink. The stink was hard to live with.

Well I do have a dishwasher now,but yeah I have been in that position.

However, hubby still thinks it ok to load the sink with dishes and not the dishwasher

John is the same way! I don't get it... the sink is farther away than the dishwasher is... just open the door and put them in there!

Lol @ this thread!!!! Sadly I am a little too OCD to leave anything out that is dirty - if it goes in the sink it has to get washed up straight away!!!

Extra points I reckon to anyone who has

a) actually eaten out of a cat bowl 'cos that was all that was left (I knew a guy who did this once)
b) bought paper plates to save washing up (same guy!)

We use to be that way. We even let it get to the point that it was easier to go and buy paper plates and plastic utensils. We also have gotton to the point, years ago, where it was truly easier to just throw everything out and start over. Ever since Karma came into the house though we do the dishes after every thing we eat. She likes to eat leftovers and I don't want her getting sick so its just easier. The kitchen is the only room in the house that is clean.

Sits here thinking as the sink's piled full. Too lazy to empy dishwasher of clean dishes & put dirty ones in.

Ummmmmmmmm....never had to use a ladle, Nat!
