Update on Kitties

It has been a little crazy around my house lately with two 6-mo. old kittens, and four 9 week old kitties. This is not to mention the dog, turtle, and three fish, as well as the stray black kitten that wandered up a few days ago. Feeding these animals are expensive!

As I am currently living at home while working and finishing college, I have been able to care for the four kitties rather easily and efficiently in their kitty "pen." But now that they are getting big, changes have to be made. Today at 3:00 I will give away Lucie and Major to one of my high school teachers, who lives in the country and will take great care of them. But I'm sad. I'll miss them a lot, even though Duke and Max will still be around, and now I can take good care of them. I can actually afford to get shots for two kitties and to eventually get them fixed (they're not big enough for that kinda stuff yet. )

I will have to post some pictures soon...Duke has gotten so much bigger since I've posted his picture in the new members forum, and especially since I posted regarding the kittens' distemper situation. I took two rolls of film last night of all of them together- they are so funny. I'll miss them so much!

I know that awful feeling of letting go - but you have made a decision that is best for all and I am sure that these two will have a lovley life with your friend! Thinkng of you..........

Thanks, Deb. I already miss them. They have only been gone for about 2 hours, and my little sister and I are moping around a little.
