Fosters! Don't put Kojak's head in your mouth! It's not nice to eat the kitten!

Those two are such rugrats! Uhhh! Fosters, our huge aussie shep. / collie mix and our kitten Kojak LOVE to rough house together and play. It's really quite cute. Fosters is always gentle with his brother and never hurts him- they just play fight really gently. Well a minute ago i turned around to see Fosters playing with Kojak and Kojak's entire head in the dog's mouth
(They were just playing) Well as soon as Kojak got a nice wiff of Fosters doggie breath, he took his head out of Fosters mouth and then poped Fosters upside the nose
Those two are too cute to watch play!
I guess they tuckered themselves out, becuase right now they're sound asleep by each other
I can tell already they're going to be rowdy today

It definitely startled me. I knew they were playing- but hey, it reminded me of a circus where those lion trianers but their heads in the lions mouth
What was really funny is that right after Fosters did that, Kojak must have got a wiff of his breath, because he got his head out of his mouth and poped him upside the nose
They're soooo rotten!
Kojak's been getting into mischif ALL week long! This morning he pulled an 8-bit and went after my banana i was eating
Apparently banana peels make great toys
You learn something new every day
/ Thankyou for asking- i'm feeling a little bit better today

mmmmmmmm litter tasting kitty
/ hehe i'm sure that's what Fosters was thinking
/ I don't think he would mind though- he is ALWAYS grooming little Kojak and bathing him (he thinks he is kojak's daddy
) Our new dog Whiskey does the same thing
They'll hold the kitten down and give him a bath and the kitten just rolls over and lets them

I know! They're soooooo rotten it's just downright adorable! And little Kojak sticks right up there with those big dogs
He actually initiates a lot of the antics

I'm sure that's what he was thinking
He does that to our new dog Whiskey too
Always playing -but it's hilarious to watch. He'll aggervate little Whiskey enough and then Whiskey will start aggervating him- it'll go on for a few minutes and then Kojak jumps in- so all 3 of them start rough housing

Here are a few pictures from when Kojak and his litter mates were babies.:

"Alright boys, time for me to bathe you. Sit still"

He herds my foster kittens together and lines them up one by one to bathe them- it's hilarious!!!!!

"Hold still while I clean you son! We gota wash behind your ears!"

Who's "Foster"ing the kittens in your house, anyway!

This was years ago (about 1969). Sis bought a cocker spaniel for me. When he arrived, he was the same size as sis's cat, Butterscotch. They would play lion tamer all the time. First, the dog's head into the cat's mouth, and then the cat's head into the dog's mouth. When the dog got too big they both looked heartbroken when they discovered the dog's head was too big.

They also wrestled, like yours, to the point of exhaustion. They'd sit a leg's length from each other and pant. Finally, when rested, one would reach out and tap the other, and the wrestling started all over again.

The dog, Rex, also helped raise two kittens. He had the night shift and would sleep beside their box. If he thought they needed something, he would wake Mom up.

That's just how fosters and kojak looked when it happened
I swear our animals are communicating with one another when we're not looking

lol...it's not cute when they try to "kill" each other while Colin and I try to sleep
All 3 of the boys will decide that 5am is the perfect time to try and attack one another- i can't tell you how many scratches i have on my body from those late night raids
