Not that I'm complaining mind you, it's just not like her

Usually she's pretty aloof, hates being petted, she'll head-butt if I put my hand down, kind of a "Hey, ma, how's it goin'?" then goes off to do her own thing. Affection has always been on her terms.
But the past week, since her vet visit, she's been velcroed to me, follows me everywhere, chirping and and meowing. when I wake up she hops on my stomach and kneads away. Again, not complaining, but I hope she's ok
it's kind of an abrupt change of behaviour.
I'm probably just being a scaredy-momma as usual, I should just enjoy it while it lasts, right?

I think I'd wait it out a little bit and see if the behavior changes at all, maybe she's just going through a different stage in her life? If your really worried about it and it doesn't go away, then have her checked out with a vet to make sure she's ok. Enjoy it now before it goes away!

she's 3 years and got spayed at 5 1/2 months
. Both my girls got fixed before their first heat, as I'm ashamed to say that I probably wouldn't have handled that too well.

I think just like us girls, there comes a time when the assumed love and affection is amplified by physical affection. Although, sometimes when a kitty is ill, or feeling irregular, they will show a sudden behavioral, personality change. Look at food, water, sleeping, litter, any changes.....vet check may be needed......
