I'm so sorry that your babies are sick from eating this food! Prayers that they get better. Have you spoken to the vet and perhaps a lawyer about what steps you should be taking? I know there are some class action lawsuits going on that you could be looking into as well. I know right now your priority is getting your kitties well, but you might as well find out what sort of documentation you need for this to join one of the law suits or to seek restitution.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I feel for you, and send many good vibes your way.

I'm so sorry you're going through this.......I know you must be worried sick. My prayers are with you and your kitties.

I know you can't put a price on your precious babies, but please, please consider joining the class action lawsuit against this company. They need to be held accountable.........here's the link to one (not sure if there has been more than one filed to date?)

There are supposed to be resources for veternarians to report possible effects from recalled food. I believe they can be found on the AVMA web site.

I'm so sorry your kitties are ill. I'm sending good energy your way right now. Have you contacted the actual pet food brand of the food? Or the pet store that sold it to you? That might give you a better start than Menu Foods directly. I know that Nutro has sent me emails to let me know what is going on with their foods, and Petco has also sent warning emails and to bring any affected food back asap. I certainly hope your kitties get well soon.

I am so sorry this has happened to you and so many others. No kitty should have to go through this.
Jackie1, It sounds to me like the 800 number is just there to take your contact information. Someone else should contact you to learn more and help you.

My heart does go out to all who have a sick animal
I saw this statement in the Menu Foods FAQ:
3. Who is going to pay my vet bills for sickness and death?

If Menu Foods product is the cause of sickness or death, Menu Foods will take responsibility. Menu has engaged a professional firm to manage your concerns and is currently contacting concerned pet owners who have reached our call center. Specific direction will be received from these individuals. Please keep copies of all your vet records and receipts for pet food purchases as well as vet bills.

I think Trouts mom was refering to cases caused by the recall food.
