Tonight I was doing some hand excercises that the OT told me to do. I had some Theriputty (glorified playdough) and was squeezing it in my hand. Reeses sees this and runs up to me, stretches up the same way she'd do to sharpen her claws on a scratching post, couch, whatever, and CLLLAAAAAWS into my knee. She actually drew blood! *lol* She didn't rip my jeans but I was bleeding. I scared her though because obviously I yelled in pain and she hightailed it out of the room.

Serves her right

my baby Cybele does this to me too- my screams of pain have not really deterred her that much

Ouch!

Radar does this to me. He'll reach up and put his paws on my knee, claws out and at the start of a stretch, just getting ready to start having a good scratching session. If I look at him and say 'Am I a scratching post? No scratchy-scratchy'
he'll remove his paws before he gets going.

He knows he's not supposed to do it, but maybe he thinks that it's like going on the stove - that if he creeps up when I'm not looking I won't notice
