Gardening websites?

Does anyone have links to good gardening websites? Nothing to complicated, just something that has trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. We're getting the top soil put down in a few weeks and I have to get some ideas of what I want to put in the yard (HUGE!) besides grass. I definitely need something that is gardening 101 because I don't have a clue.

if you look way up at the top of the page there is agreen banner that says click to join Verdant Forums. that's a forum very much like this one and from what I understand, quite a few members from here are members there- someone there would probably be happy to point you in the right direction
