I am so proud of myself, I think I have learned how to crochet. I am still practicing and all I am doing right now is the single crochet, but I can make a baby blanket with that.

I am still gonna practice a few more days though.

But I really really really think I have learned how.

Wishing I were anywhere but here
That's great!
Sure, you can make one with the single crochet! If you ever get to the point where you want to try a real easy baby afghan pattern, let me know and I'll send it to you. Your neighbor can teach you the stitches. It's really easy and looks nice.

I do appreciate that. And it will need to be easy too.

Once you get the stitches down, then it's just practice, practice, practice. With practice comes correct tension which makes your finished piece beautiful.

Well, maybe Lois will get to see her, or even Lisa.

If she gets lost coming to Canada, you will have to go retrieve her.

Here... or There... Hmmm
My grandma taught me a long time ago and I made a pot holder the day she taught me. A couple years ago I made Kitters a blanket that she loved to sleep on and a little mouse like toy! I really can't make much else but I still try every once in a while. Show us some of your stuff when it's done! Can't wait to see.

Ain't no telling where I could end up, I know I wouldn't end up across the ocean, I would hafta get on a plane or a boat.
