This kitten has not pooped as far as we know for it's whole life. It's about 3 weeks old, very skinny.. The vet did a q-tip check and there was fecal matter on it, so no congenital defect. His brother pooped, but then again his brother just passed away last night. This one is not pooping. Peeing, yes, but not pooping. I heard to try giving him olive oil and mashed pumpking.. What do you think?

sorry , but is he with him mum ? if not then you have to stimulate him. and are you bottle feeding? if yes then maybe try offering more , if hes not getting enough food then the engry he uses may be why his not pooping. and if his brother has died , and your worried, then i would take him back to the vets with the mum if she is there.

yes young kittens and puppies can't pee and poop on their own, you need to rub their genitals with a moist cloth to get them to go. Their mother would usually do this for them, Is this baby with his mom? If he is then he may have gone but the mother ate it. I would start making him go your self though, just to be sure. I'd like to know the kittens story.

No this kitten had lost his mother and we are manually feeding and pooping him.. He finally did poop the other day, and had a weird episode of seizures later on, but seems fine now.. You know how these babies are.. THey are so fragile.. Anyway i hope he keeps pooping. You could be right about him not eating enough..

Aww poor thing
Get a warm washcloth or paper towel and rub that area like the mom does so the baby will get stimulated to go potty. The mom at 3 weeks would still be helping them do this task..
