I play that too although I haven't really touched it since I started having problems. Trying to wait until I get things straightened out first.

The funny thing is, the CTS came from my lifetime of crutch use, not from anything musical. The instruments, just playing in general and years of when I started and using not so great technique, just helped it along.

Interesting with the name, I just thought you spelled it wrong and didn't realize it *lol*

I have had Juvenile Arthritis since I was 5 so I can definitely join this thread. I was wondering if that is what your name meant artharitis. Fortunately I have more good days than bad.

In my work I am on a computer all day typing so I worry that one of these days I will get CTS. Hopefully I am still far away from that!

I am feeling better, thanks Trouts Mom too for your comments too.

My hands on the other hand are a different story. Been having more pain with them in the last few days despite my occupational therapy.

Oooo that stinks Rob. Hopefully the pain lessens soon.

Perhaps the shoulder pain was a pinched nerve? I get those from time to time mainly because I have a horrible poisture.

Not entirely sure. I've pinched nerves before and it just didn't feel that way. I asked the O.T. and she wasn't sure either. Who knows

Me too though I may have to go back to work part time, atleast temporarily. The good thing is that if it gets approved, I can work part time but get paid for full.

I do need to look for another job though. While most of what I can do is computer/office related, I need one where I'm not typing constantly for up to 2 hours at a time.

Well I'm not going yet
I'm off work until atleast April 23rd, then I'll go back. The doctor wanted me to take 4-6 weeks, and I'm going to tell him I want a full 6 just to be sure and because that's when I'm scheduled up to for my OT.

Nah I won't desert TCS
I'm on here all day yes, but I'm not typing constantly, and I can get up, do excercises or whatever I need to do. At my current job I can't. I have to work constantly until my breaks, which are usually about 2 hours apart. Work might be able to accomodate me alittle bit with getting off for a few minutes to take a break, but it won't be enough. That's why I'll probably go back part time and then ultimately have to look for something else, which is nerve wracking because I've done this job out of high school for the last 8 years almost. Yeah it looks great on a resume, but ultimately I have no REAL skills except customer service *lol*
