Soleil (she is now approx 10-12 weeks) got her vaccination on Wednesday evening. The next morning I wanted to pick her up and she started screaming in pain when I lifted her underneath the tummy. This continued several times - she was screaming and hissing and then went hiding. From her previous foster I know that she didn't react badly to her first vaccination (which was way too early at 4 weeks!!!!)
Yesterday evening I brought her to the vet again for a check-up. It had gotten a bit better (at least she was not screaming as badly when I lifted her).
The vet diagnosed a bad constipation. He cleared it, but after I took her home, she still would meow pathetically when I touched her belly. And that is only touch w/o putting pressure on it....
This morning it got worse. She is still constipated I think, but what I find awkward is that she will feel pain already if you just gently stroke her belly....
I am waiting for a call from the vet right now, but he isn't in the clinc yet....
Any thoughts on this issue would be great!
Thanks!
