I have a confession to make, you guys. For the past couple of weeks, I've spent pretty much all my free time catching up on seasons 1 and 2 of Grey's Anatomy. I've been staying up late, neglecting to clean my house and was even late for work this morning because I tried squeezing an episode before I left.

This is all my boss's fault, so at least she couldn't get on my case for being late. I just started watching Grey's on and off this season and could take it or leave it. Then, my boss came in one day and asked if I'd seen the first two seasons. Told her no and she said, "You have to watch them." Turns out she'd been staying up late and getting caught up too.

I'm watching the clock now and may sneak out early, so I can get a few more episodes in before it comes on tonight. What is wrong me? I'm beyond addicted now. It's an obssession. I want my life back!

At least there's only ONE show you're addicted to! For me it's Grey's, Next Top Model, 24, and Law & Order SVU. There's just not enough time in a day to feed these addictions!
(Hey, at least if you're late for work, you can blame it on your boss!

Glad I'm not the only one.

My boss just came out of her office and said she was surprised I didn't run home on my lunch hour to squeeze in another episode.

I did that when I started watching Grey's near the end of Season 2...

Actually, I did that when I started watching The Office, I watched all the episodes over my Christmas vacation, lol... within like a week.

The only downside with that is that when you're caught up, you have to start actually waiting for new episodes, and that's hard to get used to!

Slowly step away from the TV and stop watching. It's OK to say no to Grey's!

My fiance and I are like that with The Sopranos. We borrowed seasons one thru three from J's sister, and we've been watching the episodes almost nonstop ever since. The other night, I swear I had a dream that I worked for Tony Soprano ... Apparently, (in my dreams, at least) he's a pretty decent boss.

Yes, another addict here. Our house is off limits for visits or phone calls on Thursday night.

It's really bad.
I just realized I have to stop at the grocery on the way home today, which will delay watching Grey's by a least half and hour.

I'm curious about something. What is it about Grey's Anatomy that you all love so much. I tried watching it a couple of times and just couldn't stand it. I don't think that guy who plays that Doctor that everyone thinks is so cute is good looking at all, and that lady who plays the leading characater, (her real name is Pompeo or something like that) well, I think she's just plain. The only character on that show that found even remotely interesting is that female Doctor who is so grumpy with them all.

I honestly don't understand what the appeal is about this show, and I'd love to understand why so many people love it so much.

Now UGLY BETTY, well...that's a great show.

I've never watched the show Hope, but I agree with you on this...everytime I see pics of that guy gracing another magazine cover or on a who's who list of 'beautiful people'..I'm like
I don't get it at all....

I watch it when its on, mind you its dubbed in german so its probably less entertaining as i find the translations pretty rotten. Its not something i would be addicted to!

Although if someone did send me a whole series id probably want to watch them all till its done°!

I'm the same way with Desperate Housewives. I own Seasons 1 and 2 and plan to keep adding them as they are released! I'm an addict!
