CFA cat championship to be televised!!

Finally, after all the dog show championships such as the Westminster dog shows, we cat owners get to see a two hour cat championship! April 1 on the game show network, (GSN). Do not miss this! Here are the details with times:

I will do better than that; I will keep reminding people, because something like this has never been televised to my knowledge. There must be some people on this site interested in cats, that have never seen a cat show, and this is for the national championship. This show should not be missed!

I am so sorry! Perhaps you can get somebody to record it for you. Sounds like a strange station to be on, you would expect it on APL (The Animal Planet) but it is a contest, and GSN televises live contests as well as just game shows. I wish I was near you, I would record it for you.

My parents could probably record it for me though

I haven't been in Virginia too long and don't really know anyone that can record it for me. I would ask my mom to do it and send it but she barely knows how to work the satellite, let alone record anything

I had the distinct pleasure of being afforded a preview of the show before it airs. One thing that really impressed me, besides all the beautiful pedigreed cats was that during the show, they display helpful cat tips that aren't the usual kind.

I have been to International Cat Shows, and I found this to be a true representation of the activities there, though I found myself wishing the camera stayed on the cats longer. The program seems a bit rushed.

Cat-Minster also takes you inside the home of several competitors, and well, if you think YOUR cat is spoiled, after seeing what these pampered pets receive you might be thinking you aren't spoiling them at all!

I would recommend the show for anyone who hasn't been to an International Show and are curious about what happens there. I think that for the die-hard cat show participants, I don't believe they will bother much unless their cat is showcased.

Oooh... I can't wait to see what international-level competition is like. I've only been to/in local shows, so this will be fun to watch!

Now I just need to check and make sure I get GSN. Do you guys pay extra for it? We have Comcast digital cable... surely someone else on here has the same provider and can clue me in.

If I can find someone with the channel I'll record it and see if I can get it on here or send it to people.. no promises but I'm going to try!!

we have it here and we have comcast, its channel 59 for us here, and also channel 108 !!! And we dont pay extra for it sicne its one of our normal channels (59) but i guess maybe u had to pay for it before and thats why thye have 2 channels for it with digitial cable so I am sure u have to have it
