It may just be wet inside. I'd tip the keyboard upside down and make sure all the coffee is out, and then just let it dry. Using a hair dryer might speed things up but someone else may know if that's not the best thing to do.

I've spilled numerous things and always had to get a new keyboard..luckily they're not too expensive!

We've had many spills at work and letting them dry out does work sometimes, so hopefully she doesn't. But you're right, they're not expensive. But it's not something you want to spend money on if you weren't planning on it

I feel for ya! Once I spilled beer on my keyboard. It was totally messed up. I couldn't type anything correctly. I went out and bought a new one the next day. Now that was a webtv keyboard. My pc keyboard is just as dirty and works fine. Let it dry. If you are brave and have patience, pop the keys off and dry the area with the blow dryer. I use rubbing alcohol and q-tips to clean mine. Don't use too much alcohol.

Do you suppose it was drunk?

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.

My hubby has taken ours apart and cleaned it all up before and it worked like a charm.
