Before my two meezers, I had a cat that we had adopted from the SPCA. She lived 18 happy years.. she was very shy (hence the name Heidi), but a great kitty.

I had to look twice when I saw your thread, as my name is Heidi!
She was a very lucky cat to have someone like you in her life, and you were lucky to have her in yours. She was very loved, and obviously very much missed.
