To the breeders,

When I first heard about the recall, I sent out an email to all of our pet owners, as not everyone would have heard as quickly as others. Most responded with good news, no ill effects have been seen.

Although today, we did get a call, from a woman who was feeding the packets of Iams, and her young adult had been sick for 4 days, thankfully, she had already assumed it may be the food, and had him eating dry. (Which she said he was not happy about
)

The reason, I say this, is you may want to email those pet families and check on the babies. I am sure as much coverage as the recall has had, that everyone is aware of the situation now, but I was quite surprised when the woman called today, saying she hadn't heard anything regarding the recall.

Hope everyone is well.

Thanks

What is ironic about all of this is I used to feed Iams. Charlie's breeder recommended us to switch to RC and we did since January. No Iams in the house.

I did get to read the list of banned dog and cat food - thankfully we don't have to worry about either.

My cats have been on Royal Canin from day 1. So I have no worries there.
